Heute mal quer durch Europa! Angefangen in Schweden bei Sebastian Alvarez, der diese tollen Bücher mit den maschinengenähten Covers macht: Handmade Notebooks.
Unter dem geheimnisvoll anmutenden Titel El Sótano de las Maravillas - Keller des Märchenlands - schreibt eine Grafikdesignerin aus Alicante, und ich bin ziemlich begeistert von so mancher ihrer Ideen!
In England schaue ich immer wieder gern bei Mark Cockram von Studio 5 Bookarts vorbei, denn der professionelle Buchbinder gibt Einblick in die Herstellung hochwertiger Bücher. Sehr schön auch das Blog zum Kunstprojekt Mary Ann's Cottage in Schottland, in dem u.a. Joanne B. Kaar schreibt und ab und zu ein neues Torfpapier-Buch zeigt, wie auch andere Buch- und Papierarbeiten. Ebenfalls in Schottland, zeigt Hilary von "A Yen for Paper" ihre schönen Buchkreationen.
Und in Portugal sollte ihr noch bei Oficina Made by Me vorbeischauen!

In merry old England, I like to stop by at Mark Cockram of Studio 5 Bookarts, as the professional bookbinder gives insight into the making of fine bindings. Going to Scotland, there's a very nice blog about the art project Mary Ann's Cottage. One of the authors is Joanne B. Kaar and she shows some of her great peat paper books as well as other book and paper works. I also like to visit another blog in Scotland which is "A Yen for Paper" by Hilary who makes very nice books.
