Glück ist: wenn das Wetter besser ist als seine Vorhersage! Und so war es zwar heiß am vergangenen Sonntag, doch durchaus angenehm, und trocken blieb es auch.
Von dem aus längst vergangener Flussbadzeit stammenden atmosphärischen Holzbau mit seinem nostalgisch-verwitternden Charme war ich sogleich angetan -- ein schöner Rahmen für meine Bücher und all die anderen schönen Sachen, die dort angeboten wurden!
Unter Bäumen zwischen Flussufer und Halle ließ es sich lauschig sitzen und plaudern bei Kaffee (Latte, Espresso ...), Kuchen oder frisch gezapftem Bier.
Viele gutgelaunte Besucher fanden den Weg zum Designermarkt und so war es insgesamt ein gelungener Tag an einem schönen Ort mit guter Stimmung - wir hoffen auf eine ebensoschöne Fortsetzung am 28. Juni!

It was a very nice Sunday at the riverside in Fuerth. Weather was much better than predicted: no thunderstorms but hot and sunny all day - perfect for a stroll along the river, a piece of cake and a cup of coffee (or a beer) under the trees and of course browsing all the lovely stuff people at the first Designermarkt were offering.
The location turned out to be an atmospheric old timber building with that special charm of nostalgia and weathering stemming from past times when the place was a river swimming bath. It caught me at once and I think it was the perfect frame for my books and all the other pretty handmade goods!
Accordingly, a lot of cheerful people found their way to the event, and altogether with the place and the weather made a perfect day - so we're hoping for an equally nice follow-up on June 28th!
