Altered-Book-Objekte habe ich nun schon einige bewundert, online sowieso und z.B. letztens auch in der schönen Ausstellung "Paper Global - Papier Global" in Deggendorf.
Dieses Stück hier begeistert mich jedoch besonders, denn es wurde nicht nur ein Buch hergenommen, um was anderes draus zu machen. Vielmehr entstand die Veränderung des Buchs während des Leseprozesses: sobald die Seiten gelesen waren, wurden sie zugenäht:

Mehr darüber im Blog "Blaumann blättert um", das die nähende Leserin, eigens zu diesem Projekt ins Leben gerufen hat. Und schnell lesen - wenn das Buch vollends zugenäht ist, wird das Blog gedruckt, gelöscht und ein neues Buch angefangen!
I've so far admired quite some altered book objects, many of them online and some in exhibitions, too. But I like this one particularly as it is not merely a book taken and altered. More than that, it is a book that has been read with the pages sewn together throughout the reading process. Sybille Blaumann, who read and created the object, also wrote a blog ("Blaumann turning the pages") about the book's progress. It will be printed and deleted when the book is read, so if you want to have a look at the pictures, don't wait too long!
